Just placing your lips on this flute sends a chill down your spine. When played, the instrument produces an eerie sound that can make the happiest halfling ditty sound like a heartrending dirge.
Instruments such as this typically start out as less sinister magic items, but become permanently corrupted through their owners' association with powerful undead or other tainted creatures. The previous owner of this flute was Tobias Timble, owner of the Brother Tobias Winery in the Arena District of Westgate. Seemingly mild-mannered, the halfling showed his true nature when you exposed the winery as a front for a brood of vampires. |
